Microscopic Description well-vascularized and markedly hyperplastic and hypertorphied islets. Aldeyhde
fuchsin staining shows moderate beta cell degranulation, with strongest
granulation around intra-islet capillaries. Extensive fat infiltration in the
exocrine parenchyma
