Description The susceptibility to diabetic nephropathy is being evaluating in six inbred
mice with STZ induced hyperglycemia including C57BL/6J, DBA/2J, A/J, FVB/NJ,
MRL/MpJ and KK/HlJ. Despite the comparable levels of hyperglycemia, diabetic
DBA/2J and KK/HlJ mice developed more albuminuria (ACR) and severe renal
histomorphological changes.
